Visit our small Quechua village at Cusco – Peru and get fascinated to learn the knowledge passed
down generations before there was modern science to lead.
Feel the warm welcoming that the Quechua woman have prepared for you and be magically
introduced into their culture and tradition.
You will have the opportunity to see local people dressing their typical customs. They will explain
to you the purpose of each item of clothing as those are “Smart Clothes”.
Did you know that there is a “Swaddle Technic” for carrying their babies?. Quechua woman will
show you step by step this process while they explain to you how it is to take care of their babies
at the Highlands.
In this place people still have a special connection with nature and its wisdom. They understand
about the healing properties of plants. Let yourself be immersed in the magical science of natural
medicine.
In order to continue with this blow minding ancestral knowledge, our humble hosts will share with
you their textile and weaving process skills, showing you step by step how they make their own
clothes by using elements provided by nature.
In the highlands each family produces its food. Find out about agricultural products, their
nutritional benefits, the way of use and how people preserve them.
After all the knowledge acquired, the woman will share with you a delicious variety of local foods
that they have prepared with a lot of love for you.
You will have the opportunity to purchase some souvenirs and textiles that our hosts have for sale.
Quechua woman will host you to the vehicle which will drive you back to your hotel, singing
beautiful Quechua songs while you walk.
